Easy-Going Golfing Lifestyle
Hobe Sound has a
quaint, small-town ambiance that is a refreshing contrast to big-city bustle.
You'll find the living rather relaxed here, and the beaches are just a bike ride
away from most neighborhoods. Heritage Ridge Golf Club reflects the charm and
congeniality of Hobe Sound in its shaded homes, tree-lined streets, and
easy-going golfing lifestyle. One finds a sense of tradition here within a
community enhanced by mature, lush landscaping and a scenic 18-hole golf course
that is open to the public. Originally designed by Dick LeConte, the course was
renovated by Tom Fazio and Chuck Ankrom. It has a distinctly wide-open, flowing
character that can also be challenging. An expansive driving range is
conveniently located near the entrance of Heritage Ridge and is one of the
area's most popular places to practice.
The charming golf
clubhouse portrays a bit of old fashioned Florida charisma, with its comfortable
porch for al fresco dining or conversation. There is also a dining room and
bar/lounge upstairs, and locker rooms and the pro shop downstairs. The Heritage
Ridge Golf Academy is open to the public and features a variety of clinics, plus
Junior Golf. A central boulevard through Heritage Ridge leads from US 1 to A1A
with side roads taking you to various shady neighborhoods, each offering its own
style of residence. Choose from single-family homes and villas portraying a
special comfortable luxury and overlooking golf course or nature views.
Residents of Heritage Ridge enjoy a swimming pool and tennis pavilion
overlooking a nature preserve.
